Henry was born in Chittenango to his loving parents, Henry and Edna Burleigh, where he grew up and attended school , before joining the Army Reserves.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Ed Burleigh and George Mantel, his son Brian Burleigh, and his daughter Tricia Reney.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Elizabeth Burleigh, his son David and Cathy Burleigh, and his granddaughter Amanda Reney who was the light of his life.
Henry was always a busy man being a father of three, coaching Chittenango's little league baseball and helping with his son's Boy Scout troop,
Later in life he also enjoyed shooting at the Dewitt Gun Club along with his oldest son David. He enjoyed the simple things, such as seeing the cars register for Nationals with his brother Ed or watching the golfers play the course from his patio.
In keeping with Henry"s wishes there will be no formal service. A Clebration of Life will be announced on the web site at a later date, for family and friends to honor him.
