Laszlo Hary Obituary

Laszlo was born in Hungary, as a child he survived the Second World War and Communist takeover of the family business. He participated in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Fearing reprisals, he escaped and came to the US as a refugee. He served in the US Army, 69th Signal Battalion during the Berlin Wall Crisis of 1961. He met his wife in 1978 while on vacation in Hungary. They traveled extensively around the world. His health suffered a terrible turn after a brain surgery that limited his physical ability. After a brief illness he succumbed to the unforgiving toll of pancreatic cancer. He passed away peacefully at home on March 17th. with his beloved wife Beatrix by his side. He will be missed by his wife; brother Pal (Maria) sister in law Betty (Mozes), nieces Dorothy & Kata and nephew Aron.

We will celebrate his life with a memorial mass at St. Mary's Church, 5823 Walworth Rd, Ontario, NY on April 19th at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Mary's Church in Ontario, NY 14519.
