Paula began a career as a Social Worker for Child Protective Services in the early 80’s.  She was beloved at work as well as by her friends and family. Paula was the life of the party and loved a good get together. She was an avid reader who loved a good glass of wine. Paula was famous for her dinner parties where she would play host and Skeeter played chef. Known by many names such as, the Queen of Lampwall, “A f***ing delight” and Paulita, but the name she loved to be called the most was by her two grandsons who referred to her as “Mita”. As “Mita” always said, “Xander and Lucas are the light of my life and the beat of my heart.”
