WILMA J. (CLARK) MURPHY

Wilma Joyce (Clark) Murphy passed away at home on April 14, 2018 with her loving family on attendance, at age 91.  The daughter of Leroy and Florence Clark, Wilma was born on December 09, 1926 in Newark, New York.  She is predeceased by her husband, George Murphy.  Surviving are two children, Thomas ( Kathleen ) Murphy and Kathleen ( James ) Wink; her sister, Beverly Burns; 3 grandchildren, Erin, Alison and Kevin; also by 4 great grandchildren (Colin, Kaitlyn, Brayden and Logan ) nieces ,nephews and many friends.

Wilma known as " Willy Babe " to her family was an O.R. Nurse at The Genesee Hospital in Rochester, NY for many years until she retired.  She was known for her kindness, humor and great legs.  After retiring, she spent many summers in her home in Cape Vincent, often accompanied by her grandchildren, creating many wonderful memories and a huge number of photos of sunsets in her home over the River.    She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday April 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Her Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday April 18, 2018 at 1:30 PM in St. Boniface Church  330 Gregory Street   Rochester, New York  14620.  Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery  Rochester, NY
