Cobb, Barbara W. of Fairport, NY. Called to join the angel choir on Friday May 14, 2010. Barbara W. Cobb left her loving husband of 68 years, William G. Cobb; her daugter, Penny Boehringer and her husband Jorge and their sons Jorge William and John Charles; son, Ted Cobb and his children Shirley Swagerty, Beverly Bourdages, Geoff, Donna Johnson, Tedra Cobb and Roger and Missy; son, Edward Cobb and his wife A.J. and their sons William and Jacob; and 10 great-grandchildren. Barbara will join her parents, LOttie B. Hare and Ralph L. Wilson; brothers, Jacques, Brevort, Douglas and Ralph; and sister, Florence. Her, brother, William; sisters, Mary Jane and Gail; and many family membersand friends remain with us to celebrate her life.
Born on October 18, 1922, Barbara's life passions included her work at Marine Midland ( HSBC ) Bank; membership in the Order of the Eastern Star Fairport Chapter 444, singing in the choir of the First Congregational United Church of Christ; and the Women's Club of Rochester. She loved to shop and many of us would join her. But , above all she was family focused.
Her memorial service will be on Friday at 2:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 26 East Church Street, Fairport, NY., with a reception following the service.
