Clemens J. Spang

Clemens J. Spang of Fairport, NY on January 21, 2013 at age 95 at the Penfield Place Nursing Home.  He is survived by 4 children: Cynthia ( Charles MD ) Kipp of Glen Mills, PA,  Natalie Schmoyer of West Chester, PA, Carl  ( Kim ) Spang of Newport, MA and Hollis ( Steven ) Taylor of Fairport, NY.  10 Grandchildren: Eve Herrick, Leah McIntyre, Holly Herbener, Hadley Schmoyer, Cynthia Spang, Graham Taylor, Andrew Spang, Lillith Taylor, Maeve Taylor & Elizabeth Moran.  He also had 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Mr. Spang's wife of 54 years, Rita Carly Spang, predeceased him in 1996.

Mr. Spang was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater.  He was a career firefighter in Newton, MA.  He also  owned and operated the Atkinson Village Store in Atkinson, NH.

On Saturday January 26th, please join his family from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the funeral home to celebrate Clemen's life
