Dobs, passed away on December 31, 2016 with his family by his side. Born in Coal Township, PA on November 3rd 1929, he was the son of the late Harvey Lewis Reed and Ida Mae Reed. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary A. Reed and their children, Dianne R. Strauf and Edward J. Reed. Darwin enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren, Nathan and Danielle Strauf and Millie Reed. Darwin had nine siblings, with Janice Reed of Lancaster, PA being the surviving member. A Korean War Veteran and a long time Operationg Engineer for Local 545 in Syracuse, NY; he had a love of construction and building. In retirement he enjoyed hunting and golf. A private memorial will be held with family.
