David Eisler Obituary

Following an extended and courageous battle against complications from a stem cell transplant, David Hamilton Eisler (Dave) passed away peacefully January 29, 2023 surrounded by loving family members..
With a dad in sales, Dave and his siblings grew up moving around the Northeast, and settling in Pittsburgh, PA for his high school years.  Full of mischief and fun, Dave completed his education at the University of West Virginia and began a career in sales.
On June 30, 2001, Dave married the love of his life, Cindy.  Dave and Cindy built a home and worked together to raise children Alicia, Melissa, Regan, and grandson Austin.  While building a career, Dave still managed to follow his passion for music and family.  Adept at building relationships and meeting client needs, Dave built a successful career in sales, winning multiple Salesman of the Year awards.  Yet, he was also a gifted and passionate musician.  Dave was lead guitarist and lead vocalist for Industrial Blues Band, playing local gigs in the Rochester area. His greatest passion was his family:  being present for all the ups and downs of life and ensuring all received what was needed to launch a successful start in life.  Dave also made sure there was fun.  He loved to travel and often took the kids on engaging adventures, while making sure he and Cindy had special travel times to gather and relax.
Balancing charisma with a "take charge" attitude, from the moment Dave entered a room you knew he was present! If not entertaining the crowd with jokes, he'd pick up one of his many guitars and soon have us singing along and dancing.  Dave's greatest gift however, was his big heart -- his willingness to help anyone in need.  Dave had a heart of gold:  he would literally give you the shirt off his back to help you out.
Dave is predeceased by his brother-in-law Karl Deans.  Dave is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters Alicia and Melissa, son Reagan and grandson Austin;  He is also survived by his parents Joseph and Joyce Eisler; brother Douglas (Alyce); sister Anne Deans; niece Morgan (Jon), nephews Mark (Meggie), Matthew (Lisa) and Michael Eisler; Uncles Art and David S. Eisler; and an extended family of cousins.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday February 4th  from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at The Underpass Bar & Grill, 1226 Fairport Road, Fairport, NY  14450..  Extended family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life in the Philadelphia area at a date yet to be determined this spring.
