David L. Hohn

Hohn, David L. of The Villages, Florida.  David L. Hohn of The Villages, Fl died on Tuesday May 18, 2010.  He was born in Batavia, NY and was a long time resident of  Rochester and Buffal before moving to Florida in 1999.  A graduate of what is now RIT, Dave had a long and successful career as a sale engineer before starting  his own business.  He enjoyed playing golf  and was an active member and officer of many social clubs throughout The Villages community.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie Hohn of The Villages, FL; his son , Kevin Hohn and his wife Debra of Sugarland,  TX; his daughter, Patricia Round  and her husband, Timothy of Orlando, FL; and daughter  Christine Slipko  and her husband, Lawrence of Sarasota, FL.; Dave also leaves behind  three beautiful grandaughters; Brittany,  Anna and Alexandra along with numerous nieces & nephews.  Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Ada and Harry Hohn; his brothers, Lewis and Ayden Hohn and his beloved granddaughter, Jacquelynne.

Dave was a cherished husband, a wonderful father and family leader.  He was well respected by business associates and friends alike.  His footprints in the sands of life are deep and everlasting.  Dave will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

A commitment service will be held in the All Seasons Chapel of Whie Haven Memorial Park , 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 12:00 Noon before entombment.
