ELFRIEDE RUESCH

Elfriede Ruesch of Canandaigua, New York.  On November 04, 2016, in Rochester, New York.   Elfriede ( Wohlkens ) Ruesch died peacefully in the presence of her loving family.  She was 86 years old.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Hermine Wohlkens, her brother Herman Wohlkens, and sister in law Inge Wohlkens.  Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 65 years, Eibe Ruesch; her daughter Doris ( Charlie ); her grandchildren Karin ( Jason ), Laura ( Daniel ), Regina; and her great grandchildren Kayla and Claire.  Also left to remember Elfriede is her sister, Traute ( Jupp ) Rinke of Germany along with a number of extended family members and friends.

Elfriede was a giving, kind and gentle person who loved spending her time with friends and family.  She was the most amazing cook and could bake like no other!  Her presence on this earth will be greatly missed.

Her family would like to thank all of the individuals and organizations who helped provide quality levels of care for Elfriede in the following years following her diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease.
