EUNICE B. (BAKER) SKEATES

Eunice B. Skeates of Fairport, New York on July 04, 2016 at age 98.  Eunice is predeceased by her husband, Edwin C. Skeates.  She is survived by 3 children, Stephen Skeates, Gregory ( Cynthia ) Skeates and Susan Johnson;  3 grandchildren, Melissa Janidlo, Cory Skeates and Amanda Johnson; 5 great grandchildren, Michael, Samuel & Charlotte Janidlo; Ella and Amelia Skeates; also several nieces and nephews, including Jeff and Carol Baker.           Eunice was a graduate of Fairport High School and Russell Sage College.  She referred to herself as Fairport's oldest cheerleader and was inducted as such into the Fairport Wall of Fame.  Eunice was proud to have been honored by the declaration of Eunice Skeates Day on June 30, 2014 by the town of Perinton.  She loved to travel and visited many countries as well as all 50 states.      Eunice was a gentle sweet soul, a good friend and a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.    Eunice's Memorial Services will be Saturday afternoon July 30th at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  Memorials in her name may be made to Lollypop Farm  99 Victor Rd.  Fairport, NY  14450 or Parkinson Support Group of Upstate New York, PO Box 23204   Rochester, NY  14692-3204
