George Eugene (Gene) Brown of Pittsford, New York on December 04, 2020 at age 87. Survived by his four children, Dean (Maureen), Robert (Jackie), Aileen (Todd) and Patrick (Lynn); nine grandchildren (Erica, Zack, Alex, Matt, Greg, Noah, Dan, Conor and John) and three great-grandchildren (Benton, Miles and Mojave).
He was the last of his generation, predeceased by his sisters Noreen, Betty, Anita and Mary Pat, as well as his brothers Robert, Jack and Joe.
George was a Philosophy Professor at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and then Lehman College in The Bronx, where he spent many years as an Administrator.. George retired to Virginia and became a Gentleman Farmer; he also wrote one book and many letters that his family and friends enjoyed. A memorial service will be held later in Baltimore, MD, where George grew up. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Mother Seton Academy in Baltimore, MD.
