Gail A. Peck

FAIRPORT - Gail Ahrens (Christ) Peck, 82, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, in her home surrounded by the love and support of her family and her dear friend Dorothy.

Gail was born March 13, 1940, to the late William and Claire (Kremer) Ahrens. After raising her children Gail graduated from Genesee School of Nursing as an RN. She worked at Genesee Hospital for 17 years in the Psychiatric Unit. She then moved to CT to be closer to family and worked 14 years at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT. Gail retired in 2004 and returned to Fairport, NY.  Gail spent many years volunteering at Lolly Pop Farm and the Advent House. Two of Gail’s favorite places to visit were Rye Beach, NH with her family and the Outer Banks, SC with her friends. Gail loved being outside and working in her beautiful gardens. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlework and painting.

Gail is Survived by her children Robin (Stephen) Cashman, Kelly Christ Murphy, Skip (Camoy Reid) Peck, and DJ Peck. Grandchildren William (Kelley), Devin, and Austin Cashman, Liam and Owen Murphy, Jack and Connor Chambers, Sloane and Sawyer Peck. Great grandson William Cashman, extended family members, and friends.

Gail is preceded in death by her grandparents William and Ethel (Medcalf) Ahrens, and daughter Pamela (Peck) Chambers.
