Gerard J. Wolf Obituary
Fairport resident, Gerard J. Wolf, passed peacefully on May 29th, 2021 at the age of 92. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Joann, brother John and sisters AnnaMae and Eleanor. He is survived by daughters Laura (Raymond) Walsh of South Bristol, NY, Julie Wolf of Fairport, NY, sister Alice (Peter) LaDouceur of Elbridge, NY and brother Tom (Lisa) Wolf of Naperville, IL, his 3 beloved grandchildren, Cassandra, Nathaniel and Dominic and many nieces and nephews.
Gerard, or as many called him, Jerry, was born on September 6th, 1928, in Rochester, NY. He was an active member of the Catholic Churches in the Fairport area for over 46 years. He was also an active member in the Army and then in the Air Force until his honorable discharge in October 1951. Gerard worked over 30 years for Eastman Kodak Company as an electrical engineer until his retirement in 1984. He loved woodworking projects and enjoyed it most when working on them with his nephew John.
At his request, no services will be held. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
