Inez McClary Obituary
Inez B. McClary of Fairport, NY and Lake Worth Fla. passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 21 at the age of 78.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Robert McClary, daughter Katharine Duvic (Michael), son Dr. Robert McClary DDS (Nhu) and son David McClary (Özün), Grandchildren Kelly Knecht (Jordan), Kristen Bergen (Kyle), Jeffrey Duvic (Amy) and Joe Duvic.
Inez's story is one of family and love. She and Robert met and fell in love in high school. After promising their families not to marry until one of them had a college degree, Bob and Inez married August 21, 1965 the day after she graduated with her Bachelors of Nursing degree from the University of Rochester. In their 57 years of marriage they were blessed with 3 wonderful children and 4 grandchildren.
Family and good friends were always the center of Inez's life, She was often the center of theirs too, always the "planner" and the "doer". Over the years she created cherished memories for her friends and family by planning holiday celebrations, Disney Vacations, a trip on the Orient Express, 30 cruises and amazing travels to places like Alaska, Turkey, Europe and Greece.
The immediate family will have a private celebration of Inez's life. There will be no calling hours.
Cancer won this battle, but we will win the war. We will be together soon.
