Fairport, New York: Jean R. Gottschalk on June 07, 2015 at age 83. Predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert G. Gottschalk. She is survived by her sons, Gary and Thomas Gottschalk and daughter, Gail Corey. Her grandchildren, Thomas and Daniel Gottschalk & Lindsay and Jocelyn Corey; her sister, Martha Shearer and sister-in-law, Patricia Gottschalk. Also nieces and nephews.
Jean devoted her energy and focus to her family. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed golf, bowling, German Shepherds and Dachshounds. She loved living on the Canal.
In accordance with her wishes, no calling hours will be observed. Private service and interment will be held Tuesday June 30th at 11:00am at Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lollypop Farm or Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester Hospice Program.
