JOHN CHARLES BRIGGS

John Charles Briggs, Fairport, NY.

On October 5, 2020, John was called home while surrounded by his family.  He was born April 3, 1980.  John is survived by his loving parents, Charles and Sheila,  brother Joseph and sister-in-law, Emily.  John was also the Uncle to his three nieces, Maddalyn his Goddaughter, Julia and Charlette.  John was also fortunate to have many Aunts and Uncles that he was close to, Marsha and Craig DeNee, Michael and Barbara Sokolofsky, Marilyn Briggs and Barbara and George Haberman.  Also an important part of John's life were his many cousins.  John was a very caring person who always asked how you were and what he could do to help.  He always wanted to make sure you were happy and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  The best way John knew how to make you happy was to cook for you.  Whether it be in a restaurant or at his home, any place with a stove would do.  Up to the very end he was making dishes and desserts to make you happy and full.  Others always came first to John, and that will be greatly missed.  His love for family and friends was like no other, and those who knew him understood.  He is finally at peace, but will be missed tremendously.
