JOSEPHINE JOAN FYFE

Josephine Joan Fyfe of Webster, New York  went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2020.  She was 85 years old.    She was born in Yonkers, New York and was the only child of the late Louis and Lena Gaito  Cicolani.   She is survived by her daughter Andrea-Lee Fyfe ( Lou Villanova ) of Walworth, New York.

Joan lived most of her life in Westchester County, NY.  She moved to Webster, New York to be near her daughter Andrea-Lee who had  recently relocated to the area after her marriage to Louis Villanova.

Joan was a not for profit consultant for most of her life.  She loved people and would go out of her way to help anyone in need.  She always wanted to learn new things and until her death she was taking classes online.

She was very active in Rotary: she was the first woman president of the Bronxville Rotary Club and a Rotary International Representative to the United Nations for Woman's Issues, both titles she was honored to have achieved.

She received her Master's Degree in not-for-profit management from the New School for Social Research and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Iona College.

While no funeral service is currently scheduled due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life ceremony will be held in the Spring of 2021 at the Webster United Methodist Church.
