A beloved son, father, grandfather, cousin and friend, Jack Harold Snelgrove left this world unexpectedly, in his sleep on November 2, 2021, in his home at 68 years old. Born in Regensburg, Germany on March 4, 1953, to Jack and Irmgard (Snelgrove.) Jack grew up and lived most of his life in Rochester, NY, and many of those years he spent living on Lake Ontario and Irondequoit Bay.
Jack was the father to Jacquelyn (Tom) Seymour, James, Jeremy, and Jonathan (Sheena.) He had three precious grandchildren, Riley, Brianna, and Odin. He spent 12 years in the Army National Guard and served our Nation in Operation Desert Storm from 1990-1991. Jack loved being on the water and boating. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a collector of coins and movies. He loved to be with his family and will forever be missed.
A small private ceremony will be held for the immediate family to return Jack to one of his favorite places, the lake. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Rochester Veterans Outreach Center, at 447 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620.
