James Kane

Kane, James B.  of Webster, NY on November 08, 2014 at age 77.  Jim was raised in Elmira, NY, attended Elmira Free Academy and Alfred State University.  He was a proud Army veteran.  Jim was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Alice Kane and a dear loving niece, Susan Steed Allen,  Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sheila Kennerson Kane; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret K. ( William R. ) Steed, nieces and nephews,  Amy Steed, Molly ( Mark ) Schenkel, Timothy ( Michelle ) Steed, Christopher ( Meghan ) Steed; grandnieces and nephews and extended Kennerson family and friends.

Jim worked as an Electrical Engineer for Taylor Instrument and retired as Manager from A.B.B. in Columbus, OH.  Jim was soft spoken with a kind heart and a gentle soul.  Shiela and family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Peter Bushunow, lipson Cancer and Lifetime Hospice Care.  Memorials to the Sisters of Mercy, 1437 Blossom Rd., Rochester, NY  14610 or Notre Dame High Scchool, 1400 Maple Ave., Elmira, NY  14904.

No prior calling. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St, John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY  on Wednesday, November 12th at 11:00 AM.  Private burial will take place at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery in Elmira.
