Janet K. (Kraatz) Torrens

Janet K. Torrens of Fairport, NY passed away peacefully on February 26, 2014 at age 92.  She is pre-deceased by her husband William J. Torrens and son W. James Torrens II.  She is survived by 2 sons, Tom ( Diana Drucker ) and John ( Peggy Cullinane ) Torrens.  3 grandchildren, Christa, Scott ( Erin ) and Paige. 2 great - grandchildren, Quillan and Lydia.  Her sister Diane Mayer and 4 nephews.

Originally from Akron, NY and a Fairport resident since 1955, Janet was a loving wife, mom and nana.  She was a Sunday school and high school teacher and worked for 25 years as an administrator for BOCES Monroe #1.  Playing bridge and dancing were her favorite pursuits.  Private services will be held at the family's convenience.
