Joanne E. Stanley

Joanne Stanley, beloved wife of Bertram Stanley, passed away at home of Alzheimer’s disease on November 6 at the age of 80. Predeceased by her parents Raniero and Rose Tauro, Joanne is survived by Bert and their children Craig and Cheryl.

Joanne, a graduate of Monroe Community College, studied piano at Nazareth College and taught piano for several years. 

Joanne and Bert were married for 61 wonderful years.  Her loving heart and gentle way will be sadly missed.

Given her love of nature, she will be interred in the Nature Trail at White Haven Memorial Park.  At this time, no services are planned.  In lieu of other remembrances, please donate to Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/rochesterny
