Joshua Rusinko

Josh Rusinko passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 at age 35. He was born in Rochester, NY on January 3rd, 1990, and lived his whole life in Fairport.

Josh is predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his beloved dog, Armor. He is survived by his parents Jerry and Rhonda Rusinko, sister Cara (Connor) Chmiel and nephew Caden, and sister Alyssa (Tyler) Vervalin.

Josh was a son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many. Throughout his adult years, he battled his own inner struggles. The best way to remember Josh is his love of the outdoors. He loved going on walks, car rides and to the beach with his dog Armor. You could often find him splitting wood, having an evening fire and most likely eating pizza or a PB&J. Josh was a kind, friendly, and sensitive soul. He was hardworking and always went the extra mile to make others' lives better. His family loves him dearly and will forever miss him. We hope he's finally found peace.

In lieu of flowers or donations, his family asks that you honor Josh by enjoying some time outside and by doing an act of kindness. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when Josh can best be honored outdoors.
