JUDITH "JUDY" (RYAN) O'BRIEN
February 15, 1942-June 21, 2021
Rochester: Judy passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the young age of 79.  She is now "free and emancipated" and at peace.  She was born in Dedham, Massachuttes to the late Joseph and Edith Ryan.  Judith name was blended with theirs to get "Judith" Survived by her husband James O'Brien, son Michael O'Brien (Lynn Christensen), grandchildren Elle O'Brien, and Grady O'Brien.  Daughter Kelly O'Brien.  Sister Faith Gillooly.  Brother Douglas Meaker.  Special Nephew Jimmy Sementilli and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.  Dearest Family Friend Sarah Peppard.  Dearest Family Friend Kevin Deutsch (that smiley face she showed)  Dogs Emma and Coco.
Judy lived in Lempster, New Hampshire.  She graduated in 1960 from Newport High School in Newport, New Hampshire and traveled in her 1960 Volkswagon Blue Bug and moved to Canandaigua, New York.  She resided in Rochester, NY and Penfield, NY.
Judy received her nursing degree in Brattleboro, Vermont.  Judy was a dedicated, compassionate night LPN Nurse and worked at Clifton Springs Hospital when she came from the New England Area.
Judy loved working as a nurse for 51 years mostly in Geriatics at Genesee Hospital, Highland Hospital, F.F. Thompson, Monroe Community Hospital, Private Duty and many Nursing Facilities.
Judy motto was "Life is Good" got a tattoo of Jake" when she retired at 70.  Judy loved her upbringing as a child, loved visiting her grandma "Bomma" house in Canandaigua, NY.
Loved being a mom and grandmother.  Always looked at the good in people.  She always had a "Plan B" She loved the song by Luke Bryan "Most people are good"  
She enjoyed all different types of music from RPO, Penfield Symphony, Whitney Houston, Katy Perry, WDKX.  She was a little birdie singing and humming.
Judy loved "adventures" and "road trips" with her daughter (best friend) which kept her young and youthful.  Wine tasting with her husband.
Enjoyed exercise, tennis, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry picking, Starbucks Coffee, Root 31 smoothies, Bath and Body Works, the list is endless.
Enjoyed shopping especially purses, wallets, and anything with bling and sparkle.  Loved sparkle jewelry.
The last six months have been broken, but Judy showed her strength and smile.  A beautiful person and beautiful soul.
