MICHAEL P. GERMAIN

Michael P. Germain of Penfield, New York went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2018.  He is survived by his son, Brandon; parents, Richard and Susan; brother, Joe; sister-in-law, Courtney; great aunt, Carol A. Nickel of Lackawanna, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mike graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High School in 1998, then received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University.  Mike worked for one year with the Xavier scholars at McQuaid.  He then attended Nazareth College and received his Master's degree in Social Work.  Mike worked for nearly ten years with Monroe County with the Child Protective Unit.  Mike's sharp wit, effortless intelligence and generous nature will be forever remembered.

A Memorial Mass will be held in the Chapel at McQuaid Jesuit High School   1800 South Clinton Avenue,  Rochester, NY   14618 on February 19, 2108 at 11:00 AM.  A luncheon will be held immediately following the Mass.
