Borbas, Marianna of Fairport, NY passed away on February 14th, 2010 at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Steven Borbas. They escaped from Hungary in 1956. She is also survived by her sons, Steve of Albuquerque, NM; and Andrew ( Judy ) Borbas of Fairport, NY. Her grandchildren, Kinza Borbas, Tait Borbas, Michelle Sarno and Zolton Borbas; her great-grandson, Jonathan Sarno. also nieces and nephews in Hungary and many dear friends in Rochester.
Marianna's memorial services were held on Saturday March 13th, at 11:00 AM in the Church of the Resurrection, 63 Mason Road, Fairport, NY and on Saturday March 20th from 2:00 till 4:00 PM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY 14534 and was followed by a reception. Memorials were directed to the Society of Sisters of Social Service, 296 Summit Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14214 or to the Hungarian Scout Fund, PO Box 35612, Canton, Ohio 44735.
