Mary E. Pelino

Mary E. Pelino at her home in Alexandria, Virginia on August 05, 2011.  Born Mary Elizabeth Comeau in Loveland, Ohio on July 27, 1927.  Beloved wife of the late Angelo G. Pelino for 50 years; loving and devoted mother of Rebecca Jane Pelino and Rebecca's fiance Marc Schoeni of Alexandria, Virginia.  She is also survived by sons David and Kathy Pelino of Alexandria, Virginia and Thomas and Sharon Pelino of Carmel, California; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marguerite Sassone of Greece, New York and nieces and nephews in the Rochester, New York area.

Mary ("Nana") was a beloved and respected business woman, mother, and friend in the Alexandria, Virginia area.  She was passionate about helping others, cooking for her family, welfare for all creatures great and small, gardening, and walking on the beach.  Mary 's unwavering love for her family will be forever part of our lives.

Relatives and friends may attend a graveside service at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, pittsford, NY on Wednesday, August 10, at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Angelo G. and Mary E. Pelino Scholarship Fund.  Checks may be made payable to St. John Fisher College, referencing their scholarship fund at 3690 East Avenue,  Rochester, New York  14618.  http://www.sjfc.edu/
