Maryellen Gage

Maryellen Gage, 64 of Fairport, NY, passed away peacefully at Highland Hospital on February 11th, 2023. Maryellen who liked to go by her Polish name Mania was born on March 1st, 1958 to Mary & William Berndt in Rochester NY. Mania was a dedicated bus driver for the Department of Transportation for the Fairport Central School District. Mania was highly recognized by all and loved sports trips especially for the boys lacrosse team. Mania received her very own personalized hoodie in recognition for being their bus driver. Mania was a spunky woman full of light and proud of her Polish heritage.  Mania loved to make people laugh and her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren and growing gardens each spring. Mania is survived by husband Allan, son AJ; grandson Braydon, daughter Amy & husband Matt Shepard; and granddaughter Arleigha.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at the David A. Doser Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Saturday February 25th from 1:00-3:00pm.
