Mike’s funeral mass to be held on Monday, November 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1124 Hudson Avenue, Rochester, NY. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  

Tuesday, November 8, age 61.  Predeceased by his parents; Arlene and Bernard; Mike is survived by wife, Brenda; sisters: Elaine, Pamela, Sandra Bialaszewski; niece, Mary (Kassie) and several godchildren.

After getting a BS in Business Administration at Nazareth College and an AS in Criminal Justice, Mike worked his for several law enforcement agencies in support and administrative roles. In 2015, Mike retired from Rochester Police Department as a grant specialist. Mike continued to work part-time as an instructor at the MCC Public Safety Training Facility, having worked in this role for over 40 years.

In 2001, Mike joined the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.  Over the years, he served in several leadership roles and staff officer positions at the flotilla, division, district and national level.  

Mike enjoyed spending time with his wife of 34 years, Brenda and their fur babies. His love of rock music had them traveling to concerts around the north east and Ontario, Canada. He had a wonderful sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. Mike was a wonderful human being and kind soul.  He will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
