Peter J. Lovier

Peter James Lovier passed away suddenly on July 28th, 2022 at the age of 74. Predeceased by his mother Nancy K. Lovier and father in-law, Henry Buczek. He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Marian, and children, Amy (Joe) Joseph, Timothy (Klover Kim) Lovier & Jeffrey (Ryah) Lovier. Grandchildren James & Raya Joseph and Ava & Brooklyn Lovier. Also survived by brothers Lester (Patricia) Lovier and John A. Lovier.  Also leaves behind mother in-law Helen Buczek and brother in-law Richard Buczek and many nieces and nephews.  

He worked in the insurance business for 48 years and enjoyed the work and opportunities to travel that it provided. He was an avid golfer and member at Cobble Stone Creek Country Club since 1993. Peter also was an active member, for over 40 years, of the Fairport Rotary Club. He has been active in youth hockey for years as player, coach and volunteer. Peter enjoys watching all his grandchildren play the sport, he loved the game. 

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at David Doser Funeral Home on 76 S. Main St. Fairport from 3-7 pm.  Funeral Service will be at Church of the Assumption 20 East  Ave Fairport. Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10 am.
