ROBERT J. COUGHLIN

Robert J.Coughlin of Fairport, New York passed away peacefully  on March 31, 2010, at age 88.  Born in Utica, New York to the late Harold and Gladys ( Sudol ) Coughlin.  He is predeceased by his wife Charlotte and infant sister Patricia Coughlin.  Bob graduated from SUNY Canton and worked as a Quality Control Manager at Chloride Electro Networks in Caladonia.  He was a Korean War Veteran.

Bob was an avid golfer and held the Golf Digest record for the longest putt in North America at 149'-2".  Bob is survived by his children Gary Coughlin and Theresa ( Bill Miller ) Coughlin of Dorchester, SC and Tim ( Janet ) Coughlin  of Rochester.  Grandchildren, Jamie and Christine Yates and Paige Miller Harris all of Dorchester, SC. Also Patty Ann Yates of Clarksville, TN and Norah, Michael  and Aldan Coughlin of Rochester.  Great-grandchildren Andrew Yates, Isaiah Harris, Jason D'Alessandro and William Hawkins.
