Suzanne M. Bement

In Loving Memory of Suzanne Mahoney Bement June 06, 1938 - January 16, 2021.  "There are no goodbyes for us.  Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart."

Eileen " Suzanne " Mahoney was born in Malone, NY on June 06, 1938 to parents Helen  and John Mahoney; she was one of seven children.  She graduated from Chateaugay High School, Nazareth College ( Speech Pathology ) and Geneseo ( Masters Degree ).  She married Lyman " Beans " Bement on June 23, 1962 and began her career as a speech pathologist Monroe BOCES 1 where she worked until she retired.

Suzanne's many loves in life, outside of her two children and grandchildren, included playing bridge, family cottage on Chateaugay Lake in the Adirondack Mountains, traveling, spending winters in Vero Beach, FL, dinners & cocktail parties with friends, holidays with her family, interior decorating, going to the movies, reading and spending time with her loving husband.

Suzanne was the devoted Mother of John David ( Teri ) Bement, Marcene " Marcy" ( Brian ) Hotchkiss; grandchildren Anthony Bement, Tim Bement, Nathaniel Crossman, bonus grandchildren, Brian M. Hotchkiss ( Anna ), Adam Hotchkiss and Olivia Hotchkiss.

She was at the dear sister, Jacqueline Monahan ( Richard ) Tessian, Helen ( John ) Murray, Joseph ( Helen ) Mahoney, Christine ( Don ) Chaffer, Deborah ( Rich ) Meccarielli and predeceased brother John T. Mahoney.  Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Services Wednesday January 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM  in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park.  Please honor Suzanne by making donations in her memory to Nazareth College.
