Tom enjoyed life. He had a strong will and did things his way. Tom worked at Voplex over 20 years, and General Motors over 23 years, with a lot of very good memories with his buddies. He loved to work overtime to pay for his hunts as he was going to go no matter what. He was an active hunter and fisherman, harvesting dozens of White tail deer locally taken with his bow, and several trips to Alaska where he harvested Grizzley Bear, Cariboo and Moose, proudly displaying magnificent mounts and rugs in his living room. Tom loved pulling in the magnificent Lake Trout. He loved taking his boats out, from his kayak to the fishing boat, to his cruiser, spending hundreds of hours on Canandaigua Lake. Tom rode his Raleigh bicycle often, making over 100 mile daily trips, including riding to Ashland Ohio over four days, two different times. He rode daily 7 miles around the neighborhood, even in the winter when there wasn’t snow. In his last years, he rode on a stationary bike in the basement, while listening to his favorites from Willie Nelson. He enjoyed watching his son Drag Race, spending many days cooking on his Coleman grill making Zweigles hots for everyone. He loved riding his Harley, making several trips to Sturgis, riding his chopper the whole way like only real bikers do. He enjoyed making his wine, even though it didn’t always turn out the way that he had hoped. He loved animals, and he really loved his dogs, from his childhood dog, Pepper, who was always by his side, to Gunner who he had later in life, eating chicken breast and steak for dinner most days. If Tom and Carol had something better for dinner, so did Gunner. Tom had a heart of gold inside. If you knew him, you knew this. He loved his wife, Carol, his Son, Mark, and his grandchildren, Tyler and Aaron. One of his greatest joys was his grandchildren, he was a very proud Papa.
