Thomas A Welderly

Thomas Alfred Welderly, age 78. Life long Penfield resident. Passed peacefully in his sleep. Survived by his children, Bridget, (Christopher) and Tommy, several cousins and many friends. Predeceased by his ex-wife Ann, mother Elizabeth, father Alfred, and brother John. Tom was the quintessential all-American guy, and worked hard his entire life. As a young boy, he worked on a farm, at a local gas station, repaired vehicles in town, and delivered newspapers. As an adult, he worked steadily at Xerox, and retired from Xerox after 54 yrs of dedicated service. He will be most remembered for his love of cars and motorcycles, his work ethic, and his compassion for animals. He will be deeply missed by his children and many others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your preferred charity. Calling hours will be held on Monday August 19, 2019  from 10 am-Noon at David A. Doser Funeral Home  76 South Main Street in Fairport, NY. The funeral  service will be held following calling hours at 1pm at St. Joseph's Church 43 Gebhart Road in Penfield.
