Timothy J. Martin

 Timothy John Martin, 65, of Albion, NY, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at Rochester General Hospital after a brief illness. Born on October 3, 1959, in Rochester, NY, Tim lived a life filled with a love for the outdoors.

A lifelong resident of Albion, Tim cherished camping at Rollins Pond, sitting by campfires, and spending time with his beloved dog, Sadie. His warm spirit shone through in simple joys, like sharing pretzels and chocolate milk with his granddaughters, Eleanor and Theresa, affectionately known as “Grandpa’s Girls.”

Tim was predeceased by his parents, Millard and Ida Martin; brother, Wayne Martin; and sisters, Yvonne Martin, Penny Strasburger, Linda Smallwood, Robin Woodams, and Cindy D’Amico. He is survived by his son, Reverend Wayne (Kara) Martin of Fairport; granddaughters, Eleanor and Theresa; brother, Roy (Ann) Martin; sisters, Terry Thran and Donna (John) Almeter; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at David A. Doser Funeral Home, 76 S Main St, Fairport, NY. A private family service will follow at a later date. To honor Tim’s memory, the family encourages spending time outdoors this summer with loved ones.
