Vernon L. Graham (Vern)

Passed away suddenly on February 14, 2025, at the age of 75. He was predeceased by his parents, Glenn and Doris Graham; his brother, Eugene; father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Marion Boone; sister and brother-in-law Deborah (Boone) and Tim Turner. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Boone Graham; his sister-in-law, Tamara; his brother, Larry (Bev); son, Matthew Long (Liz Tinelli); grandson, Ayden; sister-in-law, Mary Boone; brother-in-law David Boone; along with many other close friends, neighbors, and dogs Ruby and Trapper.

Vern was born in Wellsville, NY, on October 25, 1949. He was raised in Pennsylvania where he camped, fished and learned to hunt with his family. Vern and his brothers hunted together as they got older. He played baseball and loved music. Vern attended the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford studying business. When Vern moved north to New York State, he worked construction by day and played his guitar in a band at night. Vern’s skills in drywall, framing, trim work and carpentry were highly regarded.

Vern also field trained his dogs as he enjoyed pheasant hunting with many close friends at Central Game Preserve. Vern was a member and past Director at Outlet Rod & Gun Club. He as an avid sportsman shooting skeet, trap and sporting clays.

Vern will be remembered as a fun, kind-hearted and honorable man. He was a loving husband and Charlotte’s best friend. He will be sorely missed.
