Surviving are his 2 daughters, Elizabeth ( David ) Hartman and Rebecca Reeves; his son, William D. Reeves III; Also 6 grandchildren, Amanda & Brian Hartman, Brianna, Benjamin & Bailey Mowry and Chloe Robinson; great granddaughter, Aria Mowry; 2 sisters, Doann Stephens and Jane Reeves; 2 brothers, Richard ( Jeannette ) Reeves and Russell ( Annie ) Reeves. Nieces and nephews. William was married to Kathleen Cunniffe for 22 years.
William was a graduate of Hobart College. He was a Navy Veteran attaining the rank of LTJG. He will be interred at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus, New York later this year.
